ENERGY STAR® is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.

Since its creation in 1992, ENERGY STAR® has been instrumental in helping America reduce energy use to lower greenhouse gas emissions. ENERGY STAR® products must be certified by a third party based on stringent testing at EPA-recognized laboratories. And, since as much as half the energy used in a home goes to heating and cooling, an ENERGY STAR® rated furnace or boiler could cut energy bills significantly.
